Thesis | 9 Month Long Process​

By creating a universally designed underwater restaurant, this would provide an opportunity for everyone to explore and experience the ocean no matter their age, disability, or fears. Taking something we enjoy in our everyday lives and giving it a twist. Creating an environment that is not only self-sufficient, but also gives our underwater marine life a home.

 

 

 

Spent 3 months doing some extensive research & brainstorming to come up with a unique thesis project. Through various case studies, surveys, interviews, & an observational study the concepts & ideas for an underwater restaurant were solidified. 

 

 

 

Spent 3 months developing some conceptual models of the restaurant inside the USS Midway, preliminary floor plans & RCP, as well as interior elevations & perspectives. 

 

 

Spending 3 months finalizing the floor plan, interior elevations & perspectives, & putting together a professional presentation that will occur in front of a panel of jurors.
